21 Hit Wonder

This past Tuesday night found us at the Bedford Playhouse for the Book event of the season! The launch of Sam Hollander’s book titled “21 Hit Wonder, Flopping My Way to the Top of the Charts, Adventures in Songwriting.” A who’s who of Fox Lane graduates with a John Jay HS graduate as a moderator (thank you Matt Del Negro: see The Calling, City on a Hill, The Watcher, and more), Sam took the stage to talk frankly about his experiences growing up in Westchester, his adventures in songwriting, and his inspirations to make it to the top of the charts with a list of famous musicians that reads like a top 10 chart. Sam’s story is as inspiring as it is modest, and a fun read for any age. We can’t recommend it highly enough for any young person trying to make their way in any creative business, and think it’s the perfect Holiday gift to keep them plugging away at reaching for their dreams.
