Survive the Night

In “Survive the Night”, by Riley Sager, Charlie, a junior in college is no stranger to death; first with the sudden death of her parents and now with the murder of her best friend and roommate. Following her friend’s death, Charlie is desperate to distance herself from the place it all happened and the killer who still hasn’t been caught, so she accepts a ride from a stranger. However, it doesn’t take long for her suspicions to grow, leaving her questioning the stranger she got in the car with, herself, and the difference between reality and what exists only in her head.

As with all of a Riley Saver’s books this book pulls the reader into a situation that they usually only experience in movies: being trapped in a car with a possible killer. I highly recommend this book to fans of Grady Hendricks and scary movies, because much like a scary movie you never know who the real killer is until the very end.
