“Rufus Plays Al”

Our first musical guest for our Speakeasy Sessions! Come hang out with Rufus Jones, blues musician, and hear his take on Al Green: the music, the history, and blues in general. Come listen, talk, ask questions, enjoy some great music.

Take your lunch break with us — whether you can stay for 5 minutes or 50, Rufus will be here visiting with us from 12-2pm. Stop for lunch, a coffee, and some community. Put your day on hold and treat yourself.

Tuesday, January 31st from 12-2pm. No reservation necessary, no fee. Rufus is the Dad of a John Jay student, he’s a guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer and bandleader, as well as president and co-founder of the James Weldon Johnson Foundation.
