Speakeasy Seating

We have been opening the speakeasy upstairs for seating when no events are in session. Feel free to use the space for journaling, writing, reading, creating art, or visiting with friends. We are asking for the space to be ages 18+ and no computers. Why? The space is small and close, and best suited for adult, community interactions. We are a bookstore, and encourage reading and interactions that are unplugged, the minute someone is working on their computer it changes the whole vibe. What about the kids? We love kids! But worry about the stairs and the fact that we don’t have staff upstairs to assist, making the downstairs a much better place for the kiddos, where the staff can be more attentive to parents.
