“Story Time” for Parents

June 11, 9:30am. Calling new parents: This morning reading is a story time—but for you! Author Nicole Haroutunian will read from her new novel-in-stories, CHOOSE THIS NOW, which takes on, among other topics, early parenthood. Come for the adult interaction, stay for the company of a crowd who understands if your baby spits up during the Q&A. (Also open to anyone who’d prefer to attend a literary event in the morning!) Best for babies who might not be moving on their own yet. The event will be held upstairs in our Speakeasy space, any strollers should be parked outside. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on the floor, or grab a seat, very casual and no one cares if there’s crying! Grab yourself a coffee, a croissant, get comfy, meet some new mommas.
