“As a bookseller I could never keep all the great books I read. The Paris Novel will find a place on the shelf between Julia Child’s “ Mastering the Art of French Cooking” and Tamil Adler’s “The Everlasting Meal”. As I read this I wanted to cook with saffron, read James Baldwin, and wear a designer dress to an art museum. As with any good novel set in France there is lots of wine, stinky cheese, a love interest and even a rat. Bon Appetite!”
