Every once in a while I do leave Katonah. This weekend I spent a morning in Pound Ridge. A little time at Bread & Bakes, a stop in to shop at the Knack Shoppe, some flowers from Hedgerow and of course a browse through the fabulous Booksy. Worth a wander.

I read this within the experience of our current world, news full of men in power making brutal and terrifying decisions on the backs of poor, under-represented, disempowered populations the world over. This is nothing new, but it feels so loud right now, shouted and angry voices attempting to reclaim their “status” as MEN who don’t have to share or care. Who won’t be forced to change their world domination plans, or use new words or references, or care for people who have less in their quest to take more.
