Things I Think About.

And you might think about too.

I was recently reminded that I used to write. I used to write a lot. I ran a parenting blog when my kids were little named EssentialMom.com. Until they weren’t little and writing about them wasn’t so funny any more. So I stopped writing. And then I started a bookstore and was sharing my opinions through my work in the community, through customer interactions, or with my friends one by one. You see, people ask me questions. And advice. They always have. Small things like “where do you eat when you eat out” or “where can I buy a gift for my mother in law who hates everything”? To bigger questions like “how do I meet other moms of new babies” or “is it ok that I don’t always love being a parent”? To community questions like “how do you decide where to donate” or “what’s it like to start a small business and how do I survive”? So here I am talking to people and often giving the same answers and someone said…maybe it’s time to write again. So, maybe it is. Follow along and make your own conclusions. I’ll try to be useful. And honest. I’ll always be honest.
